Zoning Board of Appeals – Reading Township

The Reading Township Zoning Board of Appeals was established June 8, 2007. The Zoning Board of Appeals shall hear and decide appeals where it is alleged by the applicant there is an error in any order, requirement, permit, decision, or refusal made by the Zoning Inspector or any other administrative official in carrying out or enforcing any provisions including provisions of the Zoning Map.

The Zoning Board of Appeals shall consist of three members, one of the members shall be a member of the Reading Township Planning Commission.

To the qualified electors of THE CITIES of Hillsdale, Jonesville, Litchfield and Reading and, THE TOWNSHIPS of Adams, Allen, Amboy, Cambria, Camden, Fayette, Hillsdale, Jefferson, Litchfield, Moscow, Pittsford, Ransom, Reading, Scipio, Somerset, Wheatland, Woodbridge and Wright in THE COUNTY OF HILLSDALE, STATE OF MICHIGAN

Notice is hereby given according to the Agreement for Election Services between the County of Hillsdale and the aforementioned municipalities and under authority granted in Public Act 81 of 2023, that the location of the early voting site for the August 6, 2024 Primary Election will be the following:

HILLSDALE, MI 49242

All qualified electors in the aforementioned municipalities have the right to mark a ballot and deposit the ballot in a tabulator beginning the second Saturday before an election and ending the Sunday before the election. Early voting will be available at the early voting site for the following hours:

Day 1, Saturday, July 27, 2024: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Day 2, Sunday, July 28, 2024: 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Day 3, Monday, July 29, 2024: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Day 4, Tuesday, July 30, 2024: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Day 5, Wednesday, July 31, 2024: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Day 6, Thursday, August 1, 2024: 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Day 7, Friday, August 2, 2024: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Day 8, Saturday, August 3, 2024: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Day 9, Sunday, August 4, 2024: 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

This Notice is given on behalf of the City and Township Clerks of Hillsdale County, in accordance with Section 9.1 of the Agreement for Election Services between the County of Hillsdale and the aforementioned municipalities. Meeting/Public Accuracy Test
NOTICE OF ELECTION COMMISSION MEETING & PUBLIC ACCURACY TEST FOR THE PRIMARY ELECTION TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 6, 2024

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Election Commission Meeting and the Public Accuracy Test shall be conducted for the electronic equipment that will be used to tabulate the votes for the August 6, 2024, Primary Election. Election law requires that Public Accuracy Tests be conducted to demonstrate the computer programming used to tabulate the votes cast. The Public Accuracy Test shall be conducted at the township hall at 5355 S Edon Rd Reading, MI 49274 on July 17th, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
